General Information | Baton Rouge Photographer

Thanks so much for stopping by! :) Let me take a moment to introduce myself and WHY I do what I do.

Connection & Beauty

I believe in beauty and connection. I connect people to their best self, their friends and families, to their past and their future. I make people feel beautiful and create beautiful artwork for their homes and families. And I do it all with light and shadow and a creative eye. As it turns out, I take pretty good pictures, too. ;)

How I operate

My business model is “boutique,” meaning that I take on a limited number of clients and sessions each month to ensure that each gets the attention they deserve and their session goes smoothly from booking to product delivery.

How we start with a conversation and finish with spectacular artwork for your home.

1. The Consultation and Booking.  The first step in my process is the consultation (either by email, phone, or in person). We talk about your style, and I’ll ask lots of questions about you, your family, and what it is you’re wanting from your portrait session. No two sessions are ever the same. ;)  We’ll go over the whole process from beginning to end, what to wear, location, discuss costs and payment.

About the costs: There is a $200 retainer to book (which goes toward your total investment; nothing is confirmed on the calendar until this deposit and a contract are received). My average client spends (in total) between $600 and $800.

2. The Session. Depending on what we talk about during your consult, we will meet at an outdoor location, your home, or my home studio for a relaxed and fun portrait session. We’ll do a combination of posed and candid photos, and can change outfits and accessories at your leisure. The most important thing: we’ll have a great time! You’ll get a sneak peek on social media within 24 hours!

3. The Presentation.  About 10-14 days after your session, we’ll meet for the premiere presentation. That’s when you get to see your whole gallery and I’ll guide you in choosing artwork for your home (don’t worry – it’s really easy and fun!). :)

4. The Delivery. This is probably my favorite part of the whole process: delivering your artwork to you. Now you’ll enjoy your photographs and remember your portrait experience for years to come!
